Green gas is tried and true, but there are plenty of situations where you might need something else. Maybe you want more kick, but can't run CO2, or you are really itching to take out your GBBR but it's freezing cold outside. It's those moments where HPA shines. The CQB Russian HPA adapter is perfect for situations where running green gas is less than ideal. With minimal work, and a little getting used to, an HPA setup for your GBB rifle or pistol can provide extremely smooth consistency, accuracy, ease of cleaning, and the opportunity to play in situations where green gas can't.

  • CNC machined from billet aluminum
  • Compatible with QD HPA connectors
  • Teflon tape recommended for optimal seal
Application: Replaces the standard green gas valve with a QD connector for HPA tanks
Compatibility: For WE-Tech and other compatible Airsoft green gas magazines. (NOT compatible with KWA / KSC magazines)
Material: Aluminum

Manufacturer: CQB Russian

"I ordered 2 for my VFC MP7 took my fill valve out and inserted the nozzle into my brand new $60 gas mag and the nozzle broke... long story short don't buy this the aluminum is very weak.

"So I've had two experiences with this darn thing. I own a KWA KMP9 that I bought a CQB Russian HPA tap for (the KWA version). Threaded beautifully and easily, had all my mags done in five minutes. Some of the taps, every now and again, will unscrew a little due to my line being stiff, but I just re-tighten them and it's all good. If it was just for that gun these would get a five out of five star rating. Then...I also own a WE-Tech G39, a discontinued and unpopular model of gun that I am in love with. So, like my KMP9, I bought these WE-Tech CQB Russian HPA taps, six to be exact. Out of those six I broke/stripped four and in turn ruined the threading on the magazine for the gun. The issue I had with my G39 was that the threads seemed to either be off, or just extremely tight and I just pushed too hard. Again, six out of four, so I did successfully get two mags tapped. They were tight to screw in but they don't leak, and they preform beautifully. But it makes me wary to buy more (even though I need at least two more for skirmishes) because I now need to buy two new mags, and two new taps. (I cannot use green-gas reliably where I live) Figuring my experience with these the first time, I'm honestly afraid to buy more due to me literally ruining $196 worth of items this go around...about ten minutes of time. Maybe I'll take it into my local shop and have them install it just to make sure I don't mess up, but that's even more money. I guess the point of my review is to say, I honestly do not know if it was the taps or me, but I've had one beautiful experience with these, and one horrible. Look up your gun, go to your local store, do WHATEVER you can to make sure you know that your gun can actually be tapped easily! On a note, these aren't made with very strong metal, if you do tighten or bend it too much it will snap, leaving the threaded end stuck in the mag. They're strong enough to withstand game play, but if you have an experience like me with the installation be very careful; they also strip really easily. I will end up buying more mags and taps and hopefully they actually work well this time...

"I have used many of these and they work great. The 3 from my local stare still work great with no problems. Bought my 4th from evike when I purchased an extra mag, it had major leaks then broke while I attempted to tighten it. I question if these are the original cqb Russian valves and not ones made by another company.
