"OK this iis just an update to my review above. I spent about an hour messing with the scope and have it sighted-in. I had to remove all the adjustment screws to get a look inside where I determined that if I pushed the inner body over into a more correct position, then it could be properly sighted-in. Some Teflon plumbers tape is needed to secure those screws properly. I also swapped out the barrels on the 20 inch and 16 inch guns so that the gun shooting the higher velocity would have the longer barrel and be better for longer shots. Worked like a charm. They are both shooting around 390 fps now. Very satisfied with these guns. Upgrading my rating to a 5.

"I have the 20" barrel model of this and I like it so much I bought this one too. The shorter barrel is great for making an even more compact weapon system, however you will have to install a lighter spring to bring it down to CQB territory. Out of the box, she chrono'd at 400 +or- 5 fps with .20g bb's. With .28's the fps was right around 325. I was able to adjust the scope for elevation, but it will not adjust for windage far enough and I have to hold off to the right. The iron sights, however are set up pretty good. You may wind up using the irons more anyway if you wear face protection. It can be difficult to impossible to line up on the scope depending on your gear. The flash hider is plastic. The metal one sold here on evike is great. Get it. Also the Mag 170 round mid caps are awesome. Get those too, if high caps drive you nuts.

I will say this. Once you go bull pup, you'll never give it up. Seriously. Once you've used it for a while, an M-4 will feel weird to you. With the weight distribution being closer in to the body, it is less fatiguing to use, and changing targets is quicker.

The two I bought both came with battery and charger, but no manual.

So, in closing I will say this is a very fun gun that looks great and shoots great. It gets a 4.5 instead of a 5 this time because the scope would not zero for windage. Chinese quality control strikes again.

Carry on, and be careful out there.

AUG MIL CQB Length Airsoft AEG Rifle w/ Integrated Scope Latest Version by JG - OD

Armee-Universal-Gewehr (Universal Army Rifle) or AUG is a futuristic assault rifle developed during the 1960’s in Austria to replace the aging 7.62mm FAL automatic rifles in service at the time. Often considered as “the first successful bullpup rifle”, the AUG was indeed well ahead of its time as far as concept and design; it was highly advanced when it first went into service in the late 1970’s.
Its bullpup design which moves the core of the rifles action behind the trigger allows for the use of a full length rifle barrel in a weapon with the ergonomics of a sub-machine gun. Some other significant features include fully ambidextrous controls and reversible charging handle and shell ejection port allowing the rifle to be configured for both left and right handed shooters. The unique two stage trigger allows the user to fire in semi-auto and full-auto without needing to manipulate a selector switch; for semi-automatic fire, the operator will just pull the trigger half way and if fully-automatic fire was necessary, the operator needs to only pull the trigger all the way back. Chambered in the 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge for its ease of use and handling, the futuristic family of rifles in the AUG line can be quickly adapted to accommodate a wide variety of roles in the ever changing battlefield with just a quick swap of the barrel. The AUG is definitely a well-rounded combat weapon with a proven track record that can stand its own even with today’s modern combat rifles.
