Developed in the 1920s, the ZB vz. 26 Light Machine gun is a gas-operated, air cooled, light weight, man portable squad support weapon. Primarily used by the Czechoslovakian military, the ZB vz. 26 design also saw service with various countries across Europe and Asia and has taken part in numerous conflicts including WW2 and the Korean War; sometimes used by both sides. Most famously, the ZB vz. 26 was adopted by Britain and then updated and redesigned into what is known as the Bren Gun.
Unlike other light machine guns of its time which were often belt fed, the ZB vz. 26 is unique in that it is a top loading magazine fed weapon. The advantage of this is that the overall weight of the gun is much lighter and the weapon was less prone to malfunctions caused by dirt and debris getting into the guns action.
The Matrix ZB vz. 26 is quite an accurate recreation of the weapon featuring a quick detach outer barrel and adjustable sights with oversized adjustment dial. The Matrix ZB vz. 26 features full metal construction which includes the receiver, barrel, sights, carry handle, and bipod along with real wood furniture including the grip, stock, and carry handle. The gun itself is a solid performer with reinforced metal internals and an impressive rate of fire right out of the box; the extra-long barrel also gives the gun quite a bit of reach and accuracy.

"For the most part, everything on this gun is excellent the only downsides are as follows:
- The wood used to make it is cheap, and may come cracked or even broken
- The piece of the stock used as the hood to the battery compartment is really poorly held on, and can fall off during use (recommend some basic jury-rigging to fix this)
- This is the ultimate deal breaker: the magazines need to be wound with a separate hex-key; meaning you need an extra piece to ensure this gun loads properly. Out of all these, this is definitely the most annoying one; although to be fair you will only really need to wind it up a maximum of 2 times after initial winding (which is really good for a 500 round hi-cap mag)
- The bipod does not clip into place, and can be bothersome when running with the gun (though given this is an MG you will mostly be crouching in place with the gun resting on the bipod anyway, so it really doesn't matter)
- Heavy (obviously)
Even with that said, I would definitely recommend this gun (especially if it is on sale, like mine was), it has an amazing ROF and a respectable FPS, is made out of a solid metal and does not wear very easily (aside from the cheap wood), and is all around a great gun guaranteed to turn some heads.
"I am so happy I purchased this gun, It works so well. Firing rate is a stream of bb's, pretty solid fps (you know if you get hit), and just looks sick. I recommend this gun to anyone who is looking for a nice LMG.
-Great rate of fire/fps
-Clip holds pretty good amount of ammo
-Wood on the stock is kinda cheap
Other then that this gun has been great and I don't really have any complaints!
"I've been wanting to write a well thought out review for a while but because its on sale so cheap right now I just want to get to the basics.
With .32 bbs this thing is a constant laser stream of bb's that are very accurate at a long distance, you have to see it to believe it!
The feel of this gun is amazing, extremely sturdy, but is heavy so if you're small it will be hard for you to wield.
You can definitely run around with this gun at your side and holding the wooden handle, the bipod, or the under barrel. The Barrel is long tho so its not a cqb gun, duh.
The lever for taking the barrel off is in a awful spot, and its a must to zip tie it down. I just bought a black zip tie and its been there for forever and haven't had a reason to take it off.
The other big con is that it needs a key, to wind the mag. So instead of those high cap mags that have a wheel built in, you need your own hex key (it comes with one of course) to turn it, then you have to put the key in your pocket or something. Im working on 3D printing my own wheel to glue to it, so I don't lose the key again( yes I lost it so be careful with it).
This was just a short list of things but all in all if you need I high power fast shooting solid support weapon that looks Bad!@$ This is the gun to buy ! It turns heads like a Farrari
