The KJW MK-II is a powerful double action non-blowback Co2 powered airsoft pistol that looks and feels just like its .22LR counterpart. The gun is very comfortable to hold and fits your hand very well. The raised target sights with fiber optic front give an excellent sight picture during the day time. Thanks to the non-blowback mechanism, on a fresh Co2 canister, this pistol can shoot over 400+ fps giving you that extra power and reach. The other benefit to a non-blowback system is the gun will be much more gas efficient and will require less gas to operate.

"I'm going to be honest, I purchased this gun not expecting it to be worth much, but I am happy to say it over exceeded my expectations!!! The MK2 is about the length of a WE m92f and roughly the same width as a 1911. Full metal upper reciever and a polymer lower yet it still has a satisfying weight to it. As far as aftermarket parts, well there is none, but some ruger 22/45 pistol grips can be modified to fit. The fiber optic front sight is very nice but the block rear sight is kind of a drawback, I wish the MK2 had the MK1 rear sight. Anyways it is a very hard hitting pistol and great for outdoor, I was able to hit a man sized target from 120+ feet after I broke in the hopup.
Pros: affordable CO2 pistol
Very rugged construction
Fiber optic front sight
Excellent range and fps
Cons: trigger pull is pretty long and heavy, but it's a non blowback pistol
Rear sight kinda sucks, wish it had the MK1 rear sight
No aftermarket upgrades
Overall a great pistol for anyone
"Great pistol with extremely high power. At 400 FPS, I find it best with 0.30g bb. A co2 cartridge ($1) will last about 2~4 magazines which is pretty average for an Airsoft pistol especially at such high power.
"Out of the box it shoots way too hard even with 0.25g bbs. The bbs were curving horribly. Also, it was burning up a canister of CO2 after only two mags.
Furthermore, the gun jams if you fill the mag with 16 bbs. It seems to work fine though if you only use 15 bbs.
One last thing to note is that the MK II rattles pretty bad. It does not affect the gun's performance, but it can be rather annoying.
I took my gun apart to reduce the FPS and make a couple other modifications, and now the gun seems to work pretty well.
Its quite accurate for a pistol, and the adjustable sight and hop-up is very nice.
It is still not a gas efficient as my KWC Makarov (a fun little pistol), but I have gotten a few more mags out of it.
The gun itself is about half metal and half plastic.
The barrel and upper receiver is all metal as is the bolt, safety switch, mainspring housing, and the mag. All the internal parts are metal as well.
On the other hand, the lower reciever/frame, trigger, hand grips, and sights are all plastic.
Overall, I would give this gun a 3 out of 5.
It can be made to work well, but I expected more from a KJW pistol.
