From the makers of the most popular airsoft consumer chronograph comes an all-in-one unit which is unlike any other.
The new chronograph from Xcortech is able to combine a Mock Suppressor / BB Illuminating Tracer unit with a built in computer controlled sensor to measure muzzle velocity and rate of fire. The sensor also includes other modes of use such as a BB counter, to count up or down for a quick heads up display of estimated remaining ammo in your magazine, and a low ammo warning. To top it off a built-in battery reader displays your AEG battery level in real time as well as gives a low charge warning to let you know it is time to change your battery.
All of the information coming from the Tracer/Chrono unit is transmitted to the BB Control System (modeled after a PEQ Box) wirelessly. The BB Control System is where the unit can be programmed as well as output the information to a digital display.
Also included is the programmable SCU unit which easily plugs in-line with your battery to enable the burst setting from 2-10 rounds / full auto. This unit is also what transmits your current battery level to the PEQ Box display as well as protect your gun/battery from voltage drops.

"This thing is pretty much the swiss army knife of airsoft.
It saves you money by putting many features into a single product and it innovates by making ones of its own original design.
It's light and very applicable to any airsoft player. It's extremely beneficial to any people with low capacity magazine and high capacity boxes.
The chrono seems a bit off but people have, and I also, discovered that it records consistently 10 fps below standard chronographs found on commercial airsoft fields. This, to me, and the fact that the options accessibility mode seems a bit difficult to understand, are the only two issues I have. However, 5 minutes on youtube will have you up to speed on the product due to this confusion leading to the creation of many tutorial videos.
The tracer functions magnificently as well.
All the features function consistently and it's pretty cool watching people notice this cool product and ask what it is.
"This is literally the best attachment you can add to ANY AEG you have.
-I have never worried about running out of ammo with the BB counter on, a problem that Mid Cappers like me face often.
-The Chrono and Rounds per Minute counter are spot on, and very useful in seeing how your gun will perform.
-The shot control (burst mode) is probably the coolest thing I've used. I throw it on my scoped AR-57, and it becomes a DMR in an instant. If I need to go CQB. I just double tap one button, and bam, I'm full auto.
-The tracer unit is perfect, and you can even turn it off during day games to prevent battery drainage.
-A bunch of other cool features that come with i!
"Happy - ish.
First let me begin by saying I'm happy overall with the product, albeit a few misgivings.
I eagerly awaited the arrival of this product, excited by what I had been told it could do. It came in a well-packaged, minimalist, but adequate cardboard box. The mock PEQ box that controls functionality is plastic, but seems to be of good quality and would probably stand up to a bb strike (knock on wood). The tracer unit is a plastic housing for the batteries encased in a metal case that it threads into. The bb counter function, tracer unit, ROF calculator, and chronograph function all seem to work well.
Now for the part I'm not so thrilled about - the shot control unit. Although I'm not overly disappointed, I still expected it to function as advertised. I should also mention that the unit does not come with any kind of instruction manual, I managed to find one online. I would post the link but Evike review policy does not allow for it. I paired the shot (or 'bind'ed as the Xcortech folks put it) control unit to the control unit (peq) box. I was excited to try out burst functionality, but it absolutely will not work. I've tried running multiple different batteries, fiddled with it for hours, and it just will not work. On top of that, the "stop" function that is supposed to cut off firing when the battery level drops too low also does not function. When 'stop' is enabled, the motor will vibrate (signalling that the battery level is too low) even when I have a newly charged battery in it. Basically, whenever stop is enabled, the gun will not fire. Disappointing. The only thing that shot control unit is allowing me to do at this point, is view the voltage of my battery. Meh.
Overall though, not too bad. The tracer unit is outstanding, and keeps up with my 25 bbs/sec ROF without any problems. The LED in it is powerful and really illuminates tracer bbs well. As I said before, the Chronograph feature functions as it should. You can view measurements in either fps (feet per second) or mps (meters per second). The ROF measurement, sadly can only be viewed in rounds per minute, but a little math and you can quickly calculate your rounds per second. For what I paid, I suppose I'm happy with it. Many tracer units alone go for around this price, and round count function gives it a very futuristic feel and is sure to be a talking piece at events.
