Beretta ARX160 Elite Carbine Airsoft AEG by UMAREX - Black
Beretta brings us their iteration of the modernized intermediate range infantry rifle in the form of the Beretta AR160. Designed with the operator in mind for ease of use and reliability, the AR160 boasts very impressive improvements for a standard issue infantry rifle. With the future soldier in mind, the AR160 is constructed mostly with polymer to save on weight and its control layout is fully ambidextrous to suit both left and right handed operators; even the casing ejection port can be reversed to allow the user to choose the side casings are extracted from. Borrowing the layout from current modern rifles, the positioning of the controls will be familiar to any user who is accustomed to the classic AR platform.
The fully licensed Beretta ARX160 from UMAREX is the first accurate recreation of this modern rifle featuring the same control layout that makes the AR160 popular. The attention to detail has not been left out as this AEG sports ambidextrous controls, a folding stock with adjustable length of pull, a full set of rails on all sides including an uninterrupted rail on top, and a functional bolt stop and bolt release. For ease of use, this AEG also utilizes the same quick change barrel system that allows you to remove the outer barrel, inner barrel, and hopup by pulling down on two tabs without any tools required for easy maintenance or swapping out parts. The hopup itself is on a spring loaded buffer to make optimal contact with the air nozzle for better contact and air seal. The gearbox is easily accessible by folding the stock and removing a plate to reveal a QD spring change system which allows you to change out the spring without having to even remove the gearbox from the receivers.

"Ive had this gun for about 3 years now and i have really enjoyed it. ive probably shot over 10000 rounds out of it and its still fully functional. My ARX shot dead strait for the first few games but genius me decided to go inside and mess with all the pieces even though it was my first Airsoft gun and i had no experience with internals
anyways now it doesn't shoot very strait but hopefully Ill fix that soon. i believe i messed with the hopup and thats why its not shooting strait
alot of people dislike the look of the gun. i think it looks sci-fi/futuristic
light and sturdy
high quality polymer
full and semi auto
adjustable foldable stock
alot of sling points
great for its price
perfect velocity for both indoor and outdoor games
i have only ever used one battery after a day of airsofting.
removalbe adjustable flip up sights
removable underbarrel handle thing
you can change the side of the charging handle
flip ups sight peep hole is tiny, like really tiny. you definitely need a sight for the gun
certain m4 mags don't fit
flash hider is hard to take off
small battery compartment
under rail is short even when you remove under barrel handle thing
drops around 2-4 bb's when you remove the magazine
putting the barrel back in is hard but fast if you get the hang of it.
have to take the entire thing apart in order to change the side of the charging handle
if you remove the iron sights it doesn't have a standard piccatini rail under it
srry for any spelling errors
"I have had the AEG for about 4 weeks now and have only fielded it twice. The first time was at my local field doing some pick up games. The ARX shot ok, but kept jamming and I had to remove the barrel abd unjam it. Took it home took apart the hop up and saw it had the thinnest pos bucking I had ever seen, switched it out with a G&G green bucking and nub and gave the barrel a good cleaning with a cleaning rod. After that the gun didn't jam and shot pretty good.
The hop up can be confusing to look at, but just slide off the little c collar behind the adjustment wheel, and then slide the adj. wheel back and that will reveal the nub, turn the hop up over and there is a small set screw like 3/4", back that out some and the rest comes apart just like a standard hop up.
I fielded it last week at a milsim event and it shot very well. Using .25 bios it was shooting 335 with the Evike M100 spring. The gun shot lasers all weekend.
Pros: Feels lighter then a lot of "full metal" aegs, but just as tough.
Solid build, great feel.
The microswitch trigger makes this a semi auto beast.
Ran a 11.1 lipo no problems.
Quick change spring is awesome and very easy.
Great ergonomics, built for the user.
Cons: This gun has a rather large magwell. Some mags will wobble.
Proprietary hop up. No after market hop ups.
Horrible stock bucking and nub.
Elite Force mid caps don't feed well at all in this gun, hi caps do great.
AEG does not like full auto, failure to feed a lot in FA.
Battery compartment is somewhat limited in size. Short stick type is best.
That's my review, its not a perfect aeg, but with some tweaking it can be a beast. Mid caps must have strong springs to feed well in this aeg.
"This gun is absolutely AMAZING! I know that this may sound like I am very bad at maintaining my guns, but I play with this gun all the times out in the woods with my friends and have gotten mud all over it, held my self up (not holding my full wait), shot it way over 1,000 times, and I've only cleaned the barrel out twice! I am in awe how it still has every feature working and has accuracy that's on "fleek". As I am writing this review, I am cleaning out the barrel...WITHOUT HAVING TO HOLD UP THE FULL WEIGHT OF THE GUN. I have taken the barrel out with the easy "buttons" on the sides below the rails. Putting it back in is fairly easy but sometimes I worry that I apply too much pressure to a part that is sensitive. You have to line the barrel up perfectly with the hole or it won't go in (giggity XD). Overall, this gun is my baby and I hope that it will last me the rest of my time playing airsoft.
