"I am going to tell every single pro and con about the M27 IAR and my personal experience with my own. I got No.474 and love it. I've used it in multiple games and cannot express what kind of performance I have gotten. ROF is beast and FPS is 400, perfect for outdoors. The receivers which is aluminum, scratches easily, but it isn't a huge problem. It just makes it look even more badass. I did have some problems though, on the first day I got it, which was 7 months ago, the piece holding the unique charging handle piece to the actual charging handle came off. Nothing a little pin from another charging handle could do. Also, it would heat the motor easily with a 9.6 nunchuck after just 1 mag. Changed the motor and it works incredibly. If you were to get this, (I dunno how you"re going to, cause it is discontinued) I recommend a better motor, reshim it, and add a mosfet.
Pros: Looks awesome, long, range, accuracy, durability, comes with a legit carrying case that won't break on you, pretty lightweight even though it is a full size M27 IAR. ROF, HK trademarks, comfortable grip
Cons: PRICE!!!!, trigger response, motor heats on one high cap mag, little pin holding my unique charging handle fell off.
Other than that, it's badass.
"This gun is awesome! I received it as a gift luckily because I was not going to buy it myself because of the price!
-Weight, the full metal body just makes the gun feel realistic and not like a cheesy plastic piece of crap.
-RoF, the fire rate on this thing is freaking unbelievably.
-Sights (also has a con), nice that I don't have to remove the sights, but instead, flip them down if I ever want to put a red dot on this thing
-FPS, haven't Chrono'd the gun yet, but I can tell its good.
-Butt-stock battery :D better than a hand-guard battery.
-Case, this gun comes with the sweet case in the picture.
-Sight, not a big deal, but the rear sight might be a pain to look through, but you can flip that thing down and use the front sight, or put one of your own on.
-Price, This thing is a bit of a pretty penny, but the build quality of this thing is amazing and worth it.
-Mag, the mag it comes with it a high cap yes, that's good and all, but its really hard to get in and out sometimes and is obviously built for a different model so its a pain to put in, invest in other mags (obviously you'll need more than one).
Overall: If you don't mind spending a bit, i would recommend this gun to only those who will be able to take care of it. (No little kids because you know, don't want it to break).
"Just received this gun yesterday and I'm already impressed. I've yet to fire it so this review will be on externals and build quality. Recently I read that the gun is light weight. Not at all. the gun is very hefty and robust but not so heavy that you cant use it for an extended period of time. Also, many people have said that the stock and pistol grip are an ugly mustard color. While this might be true in photos, the color in person is beautiful and really compliments the rest of the tan quite nicely. very solid with no wobble. My only complaint is that the included mag is really hard to get in and out but it should loosen up over time.
