Got these mags on a whim because of the look, and I needed to stop using the 190rnd hicap stubby style mags in my G&G Fighting Cat. When I got them, I was giddy. Great look, felt great, swapping mags with these suckers was a breeze! Combined with the Phantom Aggressor M4 mag pouches sold here, they are a beautiful loadout to behold.
The reason I give it four stars is maybe not the mag, might've been the gun, but the mag wobble was pretty bad in the mag well of my Fighting Cat. So bad that it actually affected feeding. If I didn't have constant pressure pushing the mag forward, it would dry fire and nothing would be fed. Caused a few issues with me getting killed before I realized that was the issue. Slapped some Velcro on the back of the mag well and it feeds fine now.
Pros:
Good solid build
Easy to handle and grip (finger rest points on the front of the mag are comfy!)
Feeds through all the bbs with no issues
Cons:
As stated, my mag wobble but that very well may have been my gun only and not the mag at all.
All in all, I will be buying more of these. They are fantastic mags, feed beautifully, and add a nice mean look to your gun | |
