Mid-cap magazine offers stealth operation (without bb wobbling sound when you move) and "debatable" better feeding as the feeding design is closer to how a real fire-arm is loaded. As 470 round capacity magazines don't exist in real life, a good amount of mil-sim players prefer mid-cap magazine for a different type of gaming experience.
Due to the nature design of all mid-cap magazines, they actually function better once you "break them in". To do so, spray some light silicon oil into the magazine, load and unload it a few times until feeding is smooth. (To ensure the spring runs smoothly inside the reservoir.)

"This mag works well. I have never had a jam in 6 months the only con of this mag is it only holds less than 50 bbs
So if you have a ics 552 this runs out fast. If you only have 1 mag it's hard to load it up in a middle of a game. Other than that it's great
"I just tried out the one I ordered. It seats and feeds just fine. I filled it up and it didn't have any problems with the seams like the other review has. I've gone through two full loads with it with no problem, I know that isn't much and I have yet to play a game with it, but out of the box it is great. I'm going to order more for sure.
"Ok...so I just bought two of these for my ICS SIG 552. I love low/mid caps for the no winding no rattling aspect. But these mags suck. When you load them as they get full they actually start to bulge along the seams...YIKES! Also they are VERY easy to bump because they are long. And when you do bump them they dislodge so they no longer feed. I was killed twice because of this! I am going back to my TM high cap...
CONS. Cheap construction along seams.
Easy to dislodge and then you are dead! LOL
Definitely not worth the $$$$
