"Overall, this is a great gun for the price. However, I recieved a 200 round high-cap magazine with mine instead of a 60 round mid-cap. The hop-up unit that the gun comes with is quite cheap and doesn't work extremely well, and I haven't found any suitable replacements yet. Also, the tiny piece inside of the trigger assembly that allows the safety to function was broken when I pulled the gun out of the box. Other than that, I highly recommend this gun for anyone on a tight budget or who really likes the look and feel of the Dragunov. It is very solid and quite heavy, so if you're young or have tube arms, you might want to go with something a bit lighter and/or smaller. The gun is quite accurate and very consistent, and with the high-cap you hardly ever have to reload. Though if you're not used to the AK style mag release, you'll likely drop the mag a few times on accident. The spring is very easy to pull back as compared to other bolt action snipers, and allows for a very high rate of fire. In the right hands, some people will think its a semi-auto if they're on the recieving end. I will probably grab a scope for mine very soon as well as some other upgrade parts so that it is on par with even high-end sniper rifles.
-Looks and feels wonderful
-Will make almost everyone else on the field jealous and asking to use it (could be a con I guess)
-Accurate and consistent
-Good FPS (do not shoot anyone point blank)
-Easy to pull bolt back
-High ROF compared to other bolt action rifles
-Ready to shoot out of the box
-Easily worth $130 (though I got mine for $110)
-Can be upgraded with normal aeg springs
-Quite heavy (could be a pro)
-Wrong magazine listed (maybe just me?)
-Mine came with broken safety pin thing (also probably just me)
-Not a very good hop-up unit
"This gun is pretty decent for its price, with its high power and awesome looks, but it has its flaws.
Pros: very cheap
-Pretty accurate (when hop is adjusted and everything is in order
-high cap mag
There's some minor things that shouldn't really affect the gun that much:
-Pretty heavy and very long sniper, so it's not very mobile
-you have to have a certain amount of bbs in the mag to have it feed to the gun
-cocking back is pretty hard. I have no trouble doing it, but after a while it makes my fingers sore
-to take apart parts of the gun, you need like 20 different Allan wrenches
These are some cons that affect the gun in very bad ways
-it doesn't come with a scope OR any rail system, so you have to buy them both separately, or find a scope that directly attaches to the gun. Which costs you atleast another 50$
-the gun double feeds WAY too often to the point where I had 1/5 shots fire 2 bbs (you can try multi feeding it and turn it into a sort of shotgun, but I'm pretty sure it will damage your gun). This problem is fixable, but requires a drill to drill into part of your gun.
Overall, I think this gun is definitely worth the buy, because of its cost efficiency and its ability to compete with other 200-300$ guns out there.
"Simply put, it isn't a bad beginner sniper rifle. Completely stock, it shot straight and flawlessly for me. I don't have the PSO-1 scope, but I bought the mount for it and added my own Nikon scope. It is easy to dismantle and clean and there are also a lot of upgrades out there for it. I also use .40 gram BBs in it, that way it knocks the fps down a tad. Added a 6.01mm inner barrel, for more accuracy. Now it shoots like a dream.
I see that a lot of people think the bolt is hard to pull back, but really, after you clean and lube everything, wasn't as hard. But it isn't like your typical bolt-action rifle, so I can see how people think it's a "Con" for the gun, but I personally like the power and accuracy it has and the strength it needs to weild an older designed gun. The bolt fits the style of the gun. Keep in mind, I'm a left-handed shooter and I use my right arm to pull the bolt.
Comfy to hold
Easy to break down
Sling points are right-handed only(but I modified for left)
