I chose this item as a back-order alternative, and not only did Evike ship it promptly, but it's a pretty nice sling. Comes with a variety of "adapters" for different weapons, it's made of high-quality strap material that doesn't seem likely to fray, claw hook and slider covers, solid quick-release latch for split-second weak side covering.
I was previously using a cheap Mil-Force GS-5 on my MP5A2 (full-stock). It worked OK, but it was fraying like crazy and came with none of the amenities listed above.
If you're going to use it on a quality MP5, I recommend taking apart the stock sling mount and slipping the button clasp under the bar before re-assembling, as opposed to using the included MP5 slider clasp. It pulls the weapon closer to your body and seems to fit better overall. At least for me. | |
