I have the entire WE M1911 series and they are VERY good GBB pistols. They are accurate, solid (I've never had a metal failure or other breakage on a WE) and very easy to maintain. This pistol is no exception.

OK, the grips are cheap plastic. There are a LOT of other grips available to replace them and I do that on pretty much all of my 1911s.

My only real complaint is that I want some authenticity and all of my WE 1911s have big, silver "Caspian" markings all over the slide! Anyone have a solution for that?

This is the first 1911 I have purchased and used. compared to marui (a excellent gun maker) it is the best. Great weight, feel, and power. I got off a 40+ shot that hit my enemy in the neck, and left a light mark. Not only does it look good in your hand, it looks good in your armor or holster. WE has crafted a gun that screams RESPECT!
