"An AEP is a great sidearm if you don't like the hassle of buying gas and loading it with your BBs.
I bought this gun package in June of 2009 and it has been the best sidearm anyone's ever seen.
This deal comes with the gun, a magazine, two rechargable batteries, the charger and an unjamming rod. It also comes in a plastic carry case!
Everything about this gun is great. The RoF is off the charts for an automatic pistol, the magazine holds roughly 28 rounds, the batteries are easy to get in and out, and it feels great in the hands and on the field. The only flaws of the gun are that it is made of plastic, and the magazine.
The stock magazine is it's greatest flaw. The magazine is made of metal. Cheap metal. The one I received stopped holding BBs about a week after getting it. On the inside of the mag, where the spring-loaded side clips prevent the BBs from unloading until the motor in the gun pushes one through the barrel, the metal sides will chip off to the point where the spring-loaded side clips no longer keep the BBs in the mag. Your best bet in maintaining this gun for field use is to purchase a high-quality Tokyo Marui mag.
Otherwise, this is a great gun.
"Good gun. Almost all plastic save for the mag and a few of the internals. On the box it says it shoots up to 260 fps, I don't have a chrono so I don't know who is telling the truth, Evike or the company. It is a nice rof but the mag empties out rather quickly. Nice quality for its price. A good buy for new players.
Webmaster: Generally, ALL airsoft guns shoot at a range (ex. 200~260 for AEP). NEVER one gun will shoot at an EXACT FPS. But most new players don't understand that. So we chrono a random sample before we post the item and give it a range or use the low number to prevent any disputes from new players that don't understand gearboxes.
