"This is an excellent scope for people on a budget. It works very well, and only has a couple minor drawbacks.
This is very easy to attach to an airsoft gun with the regular slotted rails. The mounts are separate from the actual scope, meaning you can rotate the scope in the mounts if you want. Once the clamps are screwed down tight, the scope will not rotate at all. It is very stable. This also gives you some freedom to make them closer together or farther apart. If you have a very short rail, you will probably be able to fit this on it. I like to have the mounts farther apart for additional stability.
The zoom on this is very smooth, and has just the right amount of resistance. This makes it very easy to get the exact magnification/focus you want.
Mine came with transparent scope covers, which I absolutely love. I have gotten ambushed by other players a few times, and being able to shoot with the covers closed has already saved my lens from some nasty hits.
The adjustment on this scope is very sensitive, in a good way. When zeroing it in, you need to turn the adjusting screws a TON to see any major change in the adjustment. This means you can make very very small changes to it to get it pinpoint accurate at range. To new players, I suggest zooming the scope in all the way before adjusting it. Then it will be accurate at any magnification.
The adjusters on the scope aren't the high end kind you can just turn using your hand. They are a flathead screw that is covered by a screw-on cap. This means you can't make adjustments in the field easily. You need to have a screwdriver, penny, keys, or decent fingernails to adjust it. This usually isn't an issue if you do a good job zeroing it in before a game, but if you drop your gun in game and knock the adjustment out, it takes several precious minutes to get it zeroed in again.
As with just about any scope cover, the covers on this can't take too serious punishment. To be fair, I was ambushed at close range. There were probably 15 yards between me and my attacker. It took at least one hit and kept on going, but a later hit finally cracked it in half, and part of the cover fell off and got lost. However, it isn't difficult to order replacement covers. I just have a hard time finding transparent ones.
Overall, 4/5. This was well worth what I paid for it.
