"Does this stop discharging after a your battery is drained or do you have to watch out for it?

Webmaster: A discharger will completely discharge your NiCd battery pack. You won't have to monitor it.

Never discharge your NiMh pack or Lipoly pack.
NiMh battery pack are "no memory" packs that you should just charge full with a smart charger.
Lipoly CANNOT be discharged completely or it will catch on fire.

"OMG! Lipoly battery are only to be used with LIPOLY chargers!

Besides, this is for NiCd battery packs ONLY.

NiMh and lipoly does not require discharge because they don't have memory.

Otherwise, this is the best discharger out there for what it is meant to do.

Use for Ni-CD/Ni-MH Battery packs.
Battery Voltage Range: 4.8V to 9.6V
Discharging Current: 1A
Weight: 100g
NiCd batteries will have a longer life span if discharged before fully charged.
This unit will slowly drain the power of a battery with its built in bulb. A redesign and reinforced Dis-charger of the Tokyo Marui one. A recommend buy for NiCd battery users.
