"I bought this exact gun from a Canadian supplier, with the only difference being that it's powered by CO2/ comes with a CO2 mag, opposed to a green gas mag & comes without the orange tip, but is the same gun pictured here
This gun works great! Blowback action is smooth, but kicks hard & is loud too.
I haven't chronoed it at all, but I'd estimate at least 10-20 FPS more then listed here, as CO2 will give you a higher FPS.
On average I've gotten about 2-3 full mags out of one CO2 cartridge.
The slide does appear to already be lubricated, but that doesn't mean you can ignore cleaning & lubing the slide every so often.
I haven't had a chance to use it at a field yet, but I've target practiced on an empty pop can from about 20 ft away & 2-4 BBs in the exact same spot on the pop can ended with a hole through both sides of the can. I've also used it with family members who own their own airsoft gun around my property at home in the country (away from public view), & it's great. If you're only wearing goggles, a face mask, gloves & just your normal everyday attire, there is no way you will not feel a hit when you're shot with this gun.
Only negative point about this gun, but not worth docking 1 star, is the fact holsters can be difficult to find if you're wanting a hard shell holster. The Matrix holster here on Evike, will not fit this gun. SERPAs are out there, however there are no CQC ones available that will fit the gun (without some type of modification). Only SERPAs are Level 2 & Level 3 ones.
I purchased this Level 3 SERPA with the drop leg platform (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B001AQ4EQE/) "Size 04, Right Hand, Beretta 92/96/M9 Std or A1 with Rails, Not Brig/Elite"
The SERPA fits it perfectly, & almost to tight. I have not had to adjust the retention screw as that's how tight it fits.
The only other SERPA I've found for this gun, is this one (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B001CNUNWE/), again, "Size 04, Right Hand, Beretta 92/96/M9 Std or A1 with Rails, Not Brig/Elite"
Either way this gun was a great purchase even though not from Evike.
A note to all current M9 owners & future owners, when you're loading the magazine, if the spring snaps back up enough, one or both of the lips at the top will break off rendering the magazine unusable as BBs will no longer stay in the mag
"After about a year purchasing this gun, it was pretty good on the other hand. It was durable, (I dropped it in sand and grass wetness and it still worked fine!) great addition to my load out, and it helped a lot. Over all it was a great performance.
Although, the trigger cord snapped or it was disconnected after about 1 year of purchasing this, I couldn't decide which it was of the cord of the trigger braking or not or it was disconnected. I don't know what happened with the gun itself when the process of it braking occurred.
BUT it still fires, you just have to move your thumb in the trigger up every time you shoot because it doesn't spring up automatically. But it was a easy fix of a replacement of disconnecting cord or braking it of 4 dollars or more. Or being fixed for a small pay.
I guess this was over all good at least.
