Just received this item today as an impulse purchase. This will be my first fake body armor purchase also. Vest seem nice with fake hard foam style inserts held into place with velcro on the bottom of the front and rear. Large velcro chest for misc. patches and what not. The vest is adjustable on the top shoulder straps with, in my opinion at least, and oddbvelcro block on the bottom of the adjustment straps. Has a nice dark OD color to it. Something to note for other players looking into this vest. This vest IS made for a small person as Airsoft G.I. notes and not for large framed person. Currently I am 5'10" about 210lb and even with the straps at the shortest level its maybe 2-3" away from my navel point if that helps for reference. Getting some extra velcro straps will hopefully aid in making it fit better. Also, it doesnt appear its breathable. Other than that it seems nice.
Pros:
-Build seems to be good.
-Vest's material is thick so when your shock better keep an ear out
Cons:
-Too small for larger persons
-Not very adjustable
I give it 4 out of 5 only due to it being so small. But other than that it seems like its a fun aesthetic piece. | |
