Great vest for beginners and people (like me) who don't want to go spend $100+ on a plate carrier. Lightweight, easy to move in, breathes well, and is cheap. I've used it as an MP5 rig and with my SR25, and it works great both ways. The integrated hydration pouch on the back really helps a lot as well in those long matches or on hot days. Or both.
After buying a belt, drop leg pistol holster, and drop leg panel, there's no rig that I wouldn't be able to use with this vest.
Only con is that you aren't well protected from the front. You won't feel a hit from the back, but with only that mesh and molle webbing, you will feel hose hits. I recommend wearing something that will absorb the shock a bit better underneath it, like BDU. | |
