Nice pen, good quality.
Bit heavy at the back, meaning it's not comfortable to write long letters with (but who does anyway?)
Product description seems to be spot on as far as I can tell.

A nice pen and tool for anyone working in law enforcement, security or just interested in self defense.

I was thrown in the back of a van, beeing kidnapped. Lukily I had this, so I could write on the room who was kidnapping me, launch the tip at the kidnapper, and excape by breaking the bullet proof window with the pen. The kiddnapper was injured, but his assistant ran away, lukily I wrote down his name, so he was caught...Jk...This pen could become useful some time in your life.

To answer the previous poster questions, the reason why you would want to break glass or a hard surface is, if you are driving a car and your cars ends up sinking in water, you use the spring loaded tip to break the surface tension of the glass causing it to shatter.

Also in a self defense situation the pen could be used as a weapon.

Tactical Pens became a trend awhile back in the "real stee" gear industry and yes it does appear a bit secret agent man, but it could be useful for the average joe.
