This is a good quality helmet. Might be a little on the heavy side, I don't know for sure as I've never felt any other helmet, but that makes it feel a little more real. It does not cover your ears at all, so you can use coms with it easily. There are actually mounts you can buy to stick coms on the rails if you want to get fancy. When I received mine, the straps were on the wrong side causing them to go right over my ear. I switcher em and it was much more comfortable. I've said nothing but good things about this helmet, but I would not recommend it to anyone. It's 80 bucks to look cool. Looking back, I would not have bought it and instead just continued to use my boonie hat. That being said, it does look VERY cool but I don't think the price is justified. Even so, I will give it five stars because there's nothing wrong with the helmet function wise.

Comfortable
Padding on the inside is nice, and replaceable
OD green paint doesn't flake off when shot
Rails and a NVG/camera mount
Looks tacticool
CONS
Price is just way too high for what you're really getting. If you don't mind spending money to look cool, or need it for a certain look, then go for it. | |
