As other reviewers have already pointed out, the holes are not very optimal. I got the longer center screw stuck and stripped the head, causing me a bit of trouble in getting it out. After replacing it with a Phillips head screw that wouldn't strip as easily, no problems installing it.
As for cosmetics, the stain on mine is really uneven. It's darker towards some points, and almost yellow light at others, with one bad drip on it that stands out. It still looks ok at a decent medium orange, but I'd've hoped for a deeper red color. That aside, it's not really noticeable from further away than the view of the person holding it
Now, as far as design goes too, this is one of my other major qualms. The stock is fine, but the handguard is a bit off, because instead of splitting in half, it's one, thick piece, and it's tight, making barrel maintenance difficult, and towards the gas tube it's more loose, bringing black electrical tape into action fixes it though. n the other hand, being so thick makes it very durable, and the lamination will prevent scratches.
Overall, it's not great by any means, but it's not bad. It does what it's supposed to, and it certainly is a cosmetic improvement over the inaccurate polymer, but the term "high grade" just doesn't sit too well on my tongue. Certainly better than paying 500$ for a legitimate stock and handguard that would need modifications to fit. Get it if you want that classy, swag look.
