I have the one that doesn't have any rails, which is the same thing just, well, no rails! However despite that, my G36e broke down and now I need to rebuild it and will use this. With this kit you can make your G36 virtually any roll weapon in your squad. A bipod would be very nice for snipers or machine gunners, and the rails make this incredibly easy to attach any design versus the G36 specific one. Also an M203 will make you a squad grenadier or a heavily armed assault rifleman or just give you that extra firepower most G36's this size won't have. For $85? Why not? You buy versatility with this and expandability for your gun. Instalation's a snap, just unscrew your C or K barrel setup from the mount(for the C it's just the flash hider and the K is a small outer barrel) and then put the extension on and put a 510mm tightbore 6.05mm or tighter inner barrel with a metal hop up chamber and you're set to put some very effective bursts down range farther than your buddies with their precious M4's or MP5's by a long shot. The largest downside however, is its size. With this, it's not in any way a CQB or indoors rifle; take it from me I have tried and failed! Get one of those MP5's or any SMG for that model, or better yet, buy another barrel mount and keep your G36c parts for a hot swap that only takes a screw driver and 5 minutes to go from CQB to long range support sniper/machine gunner. All in all, yeah this is a somewhat expensive upgrade but it's worth it if you really consider what you can do with it; if a G36 is your choice rifle, and you want something bigger, better, and more accurate, pair this up with a 510mm 6.04mm tight bore barrel, metal hop up and some matrix high grade .2 or .25g ammo and once adjusted, my G36 with that near exact same setup save for a plastic hop up, was reaching 200ft accurately with .2g ammo. This will do that, with rail expandability! Hope you enjoy, and this is definetly a killer G36 part.
