Complete aluminum, solid metal, doesn't look cast, most likely CNC'd or cast aluminum and then machined down. Painted black, does scratch off rather easily, and when screwed all the way down, contacts one part on the barrel (otherwise, it would screw to the end of the threads - but it doesn't).
Again, solid 100% aluminum, at $30 expensive, but really does balance it out... (If you can fit these on a BE AUG, most benefit there. Major inbalance).
