This spring will fire approximately 500-550 fps, but the actual fps will depend on barrel length and the full internals, like how good the air seal is between the piston head and cylinder (can be increased by a better o-ring) and the cylinder and cylinder head. But i've seen studies that the fps is lowered by the "silent" piston heads but should be helped by the bore-up cylinder set. The gearbox will need to be replaced, the stock one will be cracked by the spring. If you want to use this you will need a reinforced gearbox. I would recommend one with 8 mm ball bearings. Also, if you are not experienced you should probably start with something a little less powerful. This will also be hard to put together by your self because of the pressure the spring produces when compressed. | |
