i had an old m14 that didnt work and i didnt feal like messing with a v7 gearbox so i just bought this one and had evike.com do the tweeking and install of the m120 spring and it works amazing along with a kwa hop up bucking and an angel custom 6.01 barrel and havent cronoed it yet but sure its in the 375-400 fps range. it sounds smooth and crisp cant wait until someone is on the other end of this.

this is just a standard m14 gearbox, so its good for upgrades and such. i got it to fix a broken m14 not knowing the original brand of the gun. it works in the gun just fine (after i fixed the hopup, duh) but the safety mechanism doesn't quite click into place. so it doesn't work now (not broken, just out of place). this is good for a quick fix to your gun though.
