This is the award winning G&P Version II gearbox for M4 / M16 / MOD5 / MP5 and other Version 2 gearbox series AEG.
Reinforcement kit includes 8mm Lipoly ready gearbox shell, screws, G&P ultra precision shim sets, 8mm bearing and M4 selector plate.

Strong gearbox, but there's some things to discuss when purchasing parts to upgrade.

PROS:
a. STRONG GEARBOX, it can run a M135/150 all day. M170 you probably want for single shot.
b. Comes with a nice set of bearings, two sizes of shims, and a plate - SWEET EXTRAS!
c. Easy assembly disassembly of the frame, fits nice.

CONS:
a. My metal spring guides did not fit properly in the back of gearbox shell, had to file the two pegs down on the rear of the spring guide.
b. I tried three different cylinder heads before ending up using a G&G stock cylinder head out of a G4 that would fit in the shell. The CNC machined version 2. M4/M16 wouldnt fit, and 2 stock version 2's would not as well, the shell would not close.
c. The gearbox does not fit gears that are half tooth, the Matrix super torque set was too big, and modifications would need to be made for the helical gearsets. I stuck with regular gearset, don't want to weaken the new G&P gearbox shell by dremeling.

I cant really say anything good about this gearbox. I never used it long enough to see how it holds up. It fits fine in my ics mp5 lower receiver but it wont fit in my classic army m15a4 lower receiver. Its a good deal considering what it comes with and the price but i would suggest going with a different gearbox spend the extra money. the bearings work very well but just wasn't worth my money
