For Experienced players only. This complete gearbox set is essentially a pre-assembled complete reinforced / tune up kit for your M4 / M16 series AEG. Manufactured by Matrix Tactical Systems, one of the most established, reliable and well known Airsoft manufacture in the world. This gearbox is an affordable alternative over the Systema gearbox with 8mm bearing sets. The Mecha box shell is modeled after Systema's new gearbox design with thickened shell. With the more stabilized 8mm bearing set, this gearbox is more attractive than ever!

Review:
A good gearbox on par with the KWA M4 gearbox. One advantage of this gearbox over the KWA is that all 6 bearings are standard size 8mm bearings you can buy. Making it much easier to work on. The monster gear set can power up to M170 spring combined with magnum motor. The inner wall of the gearbox is reinforced, just like the Systema new type Mecha box shell, with all the inner walls thickened. Easy installation for most major brands of M4 / M16 series AEG. Great performance.
To install this gearbox on a MOD5 series, although it is a version 2, the nozzle, selector plate and trigger are not the same. Slight work and gearbox knowledge will be required.

I just got it today, the international shipping was very slow, almost a month.

the bad things: shiming was horrible, I disarm first and get grind noise from the gears. I shime it propiertly and change the cables for one of a mosfet kit.
to my surprise when I armed in the first shoot get 518 and then keeps in 530 and great roof.

I also buy a policarbonate chamber matrix, the torque up matrix motor, the matrix red bucking, and the grease kit matrix and works great!

I give five stars, but you have to opened first voiding the warranty to reshim if you dont, its probably gonna break!

This gearbox is very good. i give it a thumbs up for $110

if you know what you're doing, this gearbox does exactly what you want. FPS is based on the barrel legnth and seal of the hop up-the guns i put together were fine with stock hop-ups.There was no need to relube the piston and all that misaligned pin stuff. Just be sure to use a high torque motor and lipo for this gearbox.

WOW is all i have to say. I spent months putting together my dream gearbox and turns out this was even better than what i wanted. Amazing internals reliable and fires great!
