For Experienced players only. This complete gearbox set is essentially a pre-assembled complete reinforced / tune up kit for your M4 / M16 series AEG. Manufactured by Matrix Tactical Systems, one of the most established, reliable and well known Airsoft manufacture in the world. This gearbox is an affordable alternative over the Systema gearbox with 8mm bearing sets. The Mecha box shell is modeled after Systema's new gearbox design with thickened shell. With the more stabilized 8mm bearing set, this gearbox is more attractive than ever!

Review:
A good gearbox on par with the KWA M4 gearbox. One advantage of this gearbox over the KWA is that all 6 bearings are standard size 8mm bearings you can buy. Making it much easier to work on. The monster gear set can power up to M170 spring combined with magnum motor. The inner wall of the gearbox is reinforced, just like the Systema new type Mecha box shell, with all the inner walls thickened. Easy installation for most major brands of M4 / M16 series AEG. Great performance.
To install this gearbox on a MOD5 series, although it is a version 2, the nozzle, selector plate and trigger are not the same. Slight work and gearbox knowledge will be required.

great gear box all and all. one of the down falls i had with mine is the piston head it self. after about 1000k rounds it cracked in half it would be alot better if an aluminum piston head was put in to replace the stock plastic one. i am running a g&p m120 motor and a 11.1v lipoly battery and my m4 sits at around 450 at 18-19 rps. my friend bought the same exact box for his and after i installed it and put it through the chrono his was shooting over 500 fps so i think there might have been a mix up in the box type. after i put an m120 in it i had at around 440 fps or so.
