Selecting Your AEG Gears:
Torque: Force to rotate.
Just like your car and other applications in life, Airsoft AEG gears follows the same physics behind it all.
Gear sets increase it's "torque" output by increasing the number of teeth. Which results a longer rotation and higher torque.
Keep in mind, generally you increase torque of your gearbox to enable pull of stronger springs and lower the amount of work on your motor and battery.

I have grow to love these Matrix CNC gearset over the prometheus that kept me going for the last few years. They are strong and each set lasts me over 15 months on average. I have a decked out 500 FPS Marui M4-A1 and these worked great!

can't ask for more, great pricing and stronger than anything else I tried out there.

I bought a set of these for the ICS Full Metal Tactical M4A1 (M4 and M4A1 are two different things) that I bought a while back (by the way it is an amazing out-of-the-box performer) and recently tried installing them with the help of someone trustworthy and responsible only to find that the sector gear is .01 (one hundredth) of an inch larger in diameter than the gear that the gun had in it and will simply not fit the two part ICS gearbox as it is just too tall. Other than that they were fine. I have no clue how well they will work in a standard one piece gearbox but I imagine they would fit as that is what they were originally designed for.
