Armee-Universal-Gewehr (Universal Army Rifle) or AUG is a futuristic assault rifle developed during the 1960s in Austria to replace the aging 7.62mm FAL automatic rifles in service at the time. Often considered as the first successful bullpup rifle, the AUG was indeed well ahead of its time as far as concept and design; it was highly advanced when it first went into service in the late 1970s.Its bullpup design which moves the core of the rifles action behind the trigger allows for the use of a full length rifle barrel in a weapon with the ergonomics of a sub-machine gun. Some other significant features include fully ambidextrous controls and reversible charging handle and shell ejection port allowing the rifle to be configured for both left and right handed shooters. The unique two stage trigger allows the user to fire in semi-auto and full-auto without needing to manipulate a selector switch; for semi-automatic fire, the operator will just pull the trigger half way and if fully-automatic fire was necessary, the operator needs to only pull the trigger all the way back. Chambered in the 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge for its ease of use and handling, the futuristic family of rifles in the AUG line can be quickly adapted to accommodate a wide variety of roles in the ever changing battlefield with just a quick swap of the barrel. The AUG is definitely a well-rounded combat weapon with a proven track record that can stand its own even with todays modern combat rifles.Features:Fully Licensed by Steyr ArmsHigh Strength Polymer ReceiverFull Metal Barrel AssemblyMetal 20mm Weaver Scope Rail for your choice of OpticsErgonomically Designed Grip and StockIntegrated Folding Vertical GripLength:

"Love the aug a2 platform. Very easy to upgrade and not too flashy. Great starter gun. No issues yet after owning it for 1 1/2 years. It's super versatile; in seconds you can throw a 4×16 scope with the 24" barrel for sniping, or keep the 14" barrel accompanied by a red dot scope and play cqb. It's a great gun if you're wanting something a little different. "4/20 out of 10"- ign "360 no scope"- 12 year old. If you're still reading at this point, and you're considering buying this particular airsoft gun, TRUST ME AND BUY IT ALREADY. I'm totally creditable (no I'm not)
"This gun is not made for forest combat! This is a cqb gun. The main body is sturdy but when it comes to the little pin that holds in the barrel, it gets shot off really fast. The little gadgets in the front that make the barrel area look cool, come off really easily. This is a great starter gun. I've had this gun for almost 6 months and it has done it's duty well.
1. Good quality gun
2. Good for cqb.
3. Sturdy on the outside.
4. Good gearbox, haven't had a problem with it yet.
5. Looks great!
6. Great gun to start with for airsoft.
7. Feels mostly solid.
1. Not good for forest gameplay
2. Evike false advertised the fps on this gun. (Mine shoots 310-315fps)
3. The pin that holds in the barrel gets can get shot off very easily.
4. Grip is a bit wobbly, but not that big of an issue.
5. Because it's polymer (high quality) scratches are common.
"All around it is a great gun. Easy to adjust hop up and nice acuacy and range with the battery it came with. Only two problems is that the safety sticks sometimes and the butt end off my gun were the battery is placed fell off in my first day of using it. Not held on that well and made out of some type of hard rubber. Overall great gun.
