"Okay. So I just received this rifle this morning. It comes with a large and small spring buffer, already installed; I took out the large and left the small in place for a realistic ROF and to enable the bolt lock. Also included are a magazine and basic speed loader.
As someone who has owned several high-end AR-15s, this GBB is the perfect airsoft weapon. 1:1 scale, aluminum receivers, carry handle and iron sights. It was like Christmas came early. Checked out the internals for any possible issues, found absolutely none whatsoever. This rifle has very tight tolerances. The magazine fits very tight in the magwell and definitely needs to be broken in. Weapon manipulation is just like the real thing and extremely satisfying.
As far as the magazine is concerned, it performs flawlessly. No leaks at all. I was skeptical of it after reading several poor reviews, however after testing it I am extremely happy and confident in using it.
I tested it outside, this afternoon, about 15 minutes ago. It was about 68 degrees and cool out. Fed it 5 magazines with .20s to test its reliability and accuracy. It is amazing right out of the box...I had only 1 jam on full auto, which was easily cleared in under 5 seconds. Accuracy is wonderful and I plan on further testing its capabilities. The fun switch and recoil is utterly amazing, and is quite the guilty pleasure!!!
I highly recommend this rifle!!! It is perfection, especially with the Colt licensing and trades; absolutely gorgeous...I'm am planning on upgrading the externals to either a SOPMOD Block I or II kit, not sure which yet...

As a GBB nerd, I highly recommend this!
"This thing is a joy to shoot when it's working. The kick feels great. You'll be eager to spew some rounds in full-auto, but it's actually remarkably accurate in semi. A red dot can help you hit even far-away targets. On the two occasions I've been able to field it, it's been more fun than any AEG could hope to be.
Here's the crux: parts are prone to breaking. If you expect reliability then this gun will disappoint you. Tinkering and buying parts was fine at first, but apparently WA-system guns have a reputation as money pits. This was certainly the case for me.
So far I've had to replace the factory loading nozzle/bolt, bolt locking plate, bucking, magazine, a second bucking, and the bolt carrier. Each for separate, successive issues. I've upgraded to an aluminum bolt, loading nozzle, NPAS, and hop chamber. Upgrading to GHK CO2 magazines likely contributed to the bolt carrier failure. Ordered a steel bolt carrier in hopes of salvaging this build. The main takeaway from my experience is that if you want a skirmishable GBBR, this one will set you back far more than its sticker price.
Availability of aftermarket parts
Expensive to upgrade
If you want to spend more time on the field than on the bench, your money would go farther with a KWA, WE, or KJW GBBR.
