I purchased this with the 3PX4 slide assembly, forming a complete pistol. This frame assembly is very solid, and almost identical to the Tokyo Marui version. The trademarks are exactly the same, with the exception of the extra Tokyo Marui trademark that is not present on the real steel version.
That said, there are a couple of issues that forced me to rate this a 4 instead of a 5. First, one of the great things about the Px4 is the interchangeable backstrap system. This frame assembly only includes the large backstrap. Personally, I prefer the smallest backstrap. That said, I was able to fit the Marui medium piece with no problem.
Although I was pleasantly surprised that this unit included a magazine, it's not 100% Marui compatible. It works fine with the completed 3PX4 pistol, but has feed issues when used with a Marui Px4. On the flip side, Marui magazines work fine with with the 3PX4 Px4. | |
