Ey William, just because someone wouldn't buy something for the same reasons you would you don't have to get on their case about it. To each their own, as long as they buy it, who cares what they do with it.
But as for the gun, it's a great gun to get for a collector and player alike. As Ryan stated, only use 134a with this gun. The FPS varies between 290-340 depending on temperature and accuracy is high, but that also depends on how accurate you are as well. But as for getting this as a first gun, I do not recommend it. You load the BBs into the front of the chamber as with the other Tanaka revolvers and you only get six shots. Unless the person getting this as a starter gun is a true cowboy/girl at heart, I'd recommend going with an AEG or a GBB that doesn't have a price tag as high as this one does.
On the other hand, I'm not all too sure if these are still in production. Haven't seen them in stock for a while now, not even overseas. Hope this helps Kelli.
