Designed and built by the Magpul design team in approximately 4 months as an experiment in firearms design, the Masada??is an evolution of proven technologies in a lightweight package optimized for mass production. Transition from the M16 weapon series is facilitated with similar control placement and function of many critical controls thus requiring minimal re-training. Currently the real Magpul Masada is known as the Bushmaster Adaptive Combat Rifle (ACR). The Magpul PTS version is true to the original and highly innovative Magpul design.

The Magpul PTS Masada Adaptive Combat Weapon System is rapidly reconfigurable for various barrel lengths, combat sight systems and magazine compatibility. Core features include a G&P 8mm Bearing Complete Gearbox (GP857A), M120 High Speed Motor (GP561), Metal Air Nozzle (SR-25), Flip-up backup iron sights, tool-less quick-change barrel system, multi-adjustable folding stock, and handguard battery compartment. With the Magpul PTS Masada?? backward compatibility with a number of AR-15/M16 parts allows for a wide variety of custom configurations using commonly available aftermarket upgrade components making this the most advanced airsoft gun available.

First I want to say this is a great CQB weapon, quick trigger response, accurate grouping at 50 yards which is more than enough for CQB. Of coarse I have a 6.03 mm matrix barrel to make this possible. This gun has a lot of room for all your sights and laser and flashlights etc..I will soon be putting a lipo and matrix high speed motor into my gun to make it super fast speed. By the way to the review under mine the A&K Masada does have a plastic hop up yes, but there are CNC aluminum hop-ups available for around $35-$45 which I have and makes the gun ten times better.

This gun has a great feel and look, high rate of fire and good FPS. It shoots 360 FPS. Not 320 as listed. The only negative thing is the plastic hop up, which cannot be replaced.
